Verification of Injections taken at Bedok Medical Centre pre-trip

Hi all,

Welcome back to the new school term!
I need your cooperation here.
The bill from the Bedok Medical Centre is here and I need to verify that the total cost is right. Please reply asap (by Friday 6th July through the blog or email me at wong_shumin_aileen@moe.edu.sg) the types of injections taken and if you've purchased malaria pills from the clinic. That is, things to verify if you've taken these at the clinic:

Hep A Vaccine
Typhoid Vaccine
Tetanus toxoid
Malaria pills

Thanks & all the best for JCT!

Grins,
Ms A. Wong.

missing everything!

i'm so missing the night sky in cambodia!
especially the sky of the village. lit up by the sky of stars. how nice if we get to see it everyday... in singapore. but it's only when we get to see it not so often that we learn to treasure it. =)

missing the morning rooster call. back to the useless alarm clock that never fails to put me back to sleep.
missing the slow pace. time passes so fast when we're back in singapore =(
missing the food that friends cook. hawker food just doesn't taste as good.
missing the noises of the children. cars. nagging of mama. irritating noises from loud-speakers on the train.
missing your laughters. being alone is real boring.
missing the trying to communicate with cambodians. everyone just so well "understands" what i say.
missing the sleeping with insects and 24 other people. althought the comfy bed is good, but it's lonely to sleep by myself =(
missing the gossips. now i'm back to mumbling to myself...
missing kim's night story. silence puts me to sleep every late night.
missing noteless days. now i have to face the thick stacks of notes everyday and start mugging before mummy comes after me with a chopper >.<

i just so miss every part of the trip. thanks to everyone of you... you guys been real great companions. be it those i hang around with most of the time, or those whom i don't really say much to throughout the trip, i'll remember all of you... always. =)

12days together, it's not really that long a period of time, but it's definitely quality time spent.

i agree : *Only a life lived for others is a life worth living*

see you guys around when school reopens! don't miss me too much alright =x

Of Cucumbers and Emo

Hey people,

Photos are on the way... but here's three for the moment. Uploading them is a pain even after I have shrunk them from 3000 x 2000 to 1024 x 681.

Somehow Ryan looks like Kon (Bleach) in the picture...

Of Course I'm missing the fun already and Singapore seems exceptionally cool compared to the heat in Cambodia. No more Prickly Heat baths :p And I could turn over and hug somebody last night without getting a slap in the face ...

Oh and Emo says, " I am EMO! "

It was a good and memorable trip. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Thanks to all of you.

Super Cool.

yes. That amazing bottle of magic.
brings back memories for me.
xD

anyway, i wonder if anyone's busy typing up some sort of recount of the whole trip, cos it'd be kinda nice =) if you post on your blogs, you could always put some sort of link here, we'd love to read it =)

oh yea, and other matters we have to attend to, i think, would be the presentation we have to put up sometime.
and some exhibition.

and stuff.

But i enjoyed my time. =)

(sorry, im quite incoherent now. im not sure why im posting here either.)

=B3at=
have fun! =)
its weird when you wake up, and youre alone in your room.

*suffers from withdrawal. xD

The End Is the Beginning Is the End (TEITBITE) ?

We've returned from Cambodia.
Mission accomplished?
Where do we go from here?
Do hope that all of you did take home some invaluable memories.
Shall we meet for waffles and ice-cream next Tues, 19th June at Suntec Gelare 1pm? And sum up the whole trip? Hope to get 90% attendance. Reply asap:)
Till then, rest well & prepare well for JCT. Don't blame the trip for your "good" results! ;)

Bonsoir.

totally crazy.

return.

will post soon =)

Back to the homepage.

What's this about?

This June, 23 students accompanied by 2 teachers will embark on a service learning trip to Kampong Chan, in the province of Prey Veng, Cambodia. There, they will put together their efforts to help paint two classroom blocks, furnish a library, interact and teach the children and perhaps assist in the construction of wells for the community.

Anything to say?
